Xtreme Barrel Racing Plus FACTS and INFO
1. 75% Payback from Entry Fees. 100% Payback from Added Money divided equally to each division.
Sliding pay scale:
4D 35% 30% 20% 15%
5D 30% 25% 20% 15% 10%
All monies will be paid out in the divisions designated. Xtreme Open is sliding payback. Youth 3D, Senior 3D & novice 3D is equal pay.
2. Pre-entries must arrive by the posted date. Late entries will be taken until the last 50 riders in the Open. All other classes stop taking entries when the first rider enters the arena. Vet outs must be received at least one week prior to the show date & on vet forms. 75% of all fees will be returned for vet outs. Processing fees will not be refunded.
3. Processing fees & late fees may be applicable to each event.
4. 6 & Under-Barrels & Straights*No Penalties. No processing fees. Open 4D will have 1/2, 1/2, full second splits and is open to all ages. Open 5D will have 1/2 second splits across and is open to all ages. Youth 3D will have full second splits and is open to ages 19 & under. Senior 3D will have full second splits and is open to ages 35 & over. Novice 3D will have full second splits across and earnings of no more than $1,000 and is open to all age riders.
5. Check in (10) runs before your run or you can be disqualified.
6. Exhibitions are limited and will close in time to prepare arena. 60 second time limit on exhibitions. Going over can result in a $5 fine.
7. Positions will be drawn until the 1st runner enters the pen. Remaining contestants will be add ons. No rider changes, Running your horse out of turn, or running the wrong horse, will result in disqualification.
8. Three gate calls will be given at ten (10) second intervals and you will be given 3 minutes after the 3rd call. If you have not crossed the timer you are scratched. You may circle a barrel only once during your run.
9. We will drag after each five (5) riders. Any other ground maintenance will be determined by the ground crew. Must continue forward motion once the timer starts. A broken pattern results in a no time. Barrel touching the ground results in a no time.
10. Reruns will only be allowed if the timekeeper fails to get the contestants time due to clock malfunction. The contestant has the option for a re-ride immediately or at the end of the class.
